Introduction 

A century ago, there was a serious pandemic in Peng Chau. It was believed that Tin Hau helped and inspired the people to worship and bless the dead on 12﹣15 July of the Lunar calendar every year so the island would be protected by the god.It is one of the most important festivals on Peng Chau.
