Chinese Calender Design

I tried to challenge myself to design a Chinese-style calender. The illustration of each month is based on the festival or tradional story of that particular month. For instance, January relates to the start of the year, hence a horse is representing the January in 2014. (2014 is the 'Year of Horse' in Chinese culture)

Besides of the illustration in the middle of the calender, there are four logos are design and located near the illustration, which shows what people do in that month/festival. So that people can know the festival activities in each month.

These are the grapics that designed for each months in the year. Each design is based on the festival or traditional Chinese story of each month.
